Bones Season 8-1 review

Thrilling, exciting, and very interesting are all great words to describe this show BONES created by Hart HansonIts a series that involves around a forensic anthropologist Dr.Temperance Brennan( played by Emily Deschanel a former movie star), a FBI agent Seeley Booth( played by David Boreanaz a former star on a hit Tv show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and a group of other scientists who come together to solve crimes. On monday, September 17, season 8 premiered and it was a success.

Episode 1 season 8 was all about what happened at the end of season 7, Dr. Brennan, head scientist at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington Dc, is on the run from the law because she was framed for the murder of Ethan Sawyer by the real murderer Christopher Pelant. Brennan’s husband and father of her child, Seeley Booth, and a team of scientists are trying to find her and clear her name before the FBI catches on to there plan.

This episode started off showing Dr. Brennan and her dad at a park with Brennan’s daughter talking about what had happened in the past 3 months. While she was on the run, Angela Montenegro and Dr. Jack Hodgins, friends of Brennan and Booth, were in the lab trying to figure out a way to clear Brennan's name when an anonymous phone call came in. The mysterious caller said there were bones in the woods. Everyone else not knowing besides Angela thought it was just another murder case, but in fact it was a setup. The anonymous person that called was Dr. Brennan’s dad because Brennan  found those remains of the dead girl, who was Pelant's counselor, in order to prove that Pelant was a killer. Secretively Booth and Brennan meet up to talk about the remains found and how it will help them. Pelant killed that councelor because she was going to write a report explaining about Pelant's  mental issues for colleges and so he killed her and wrote himself his own letter covering up what the counselor had written. After bringing the bones back, Dr. Hodgins sneaks Brennan back into the lab so that she could prove that Pelant did kill her and to examine how he did it. After hours of work Brennan finally gathers enough proof to show Pelant did kill her. Meanwhile they were at work with the bones, Booth finds the records of the FBIs emails and private information showing Pelant had hacked into them. In the end you think you know whats going to happen next, but then this show ends with a twist.

This weeks show was breath taking, it had all the elements of a good show.It was
suspenseful, shocking, and you could never guess what happens next. I have nothing to
complain, Hart Hanson really did a good job writing this.

  1. The intro was a little hard to follow, but nothing one couldn't get through. The summary of the episode felt a little smashed into just the one paragraph. I appreciate how the creator of the show was addressed and not just the actors. The pictures were good, and the ending really got my attention. I didn't notice too many grammatical errors, but the ones that were there, really stood out.

  2. The flow in which you lead through, is very thrilling and keeps the reader interested.Something else you did a great job on was, keeping everything together and organized, although at the bottom it seems that you were rushing and moved things around.Another thing you really did good on was how you kept the good focus on the show's background. For the most part on the grammar it seems to be correct except for a few errors but other than that it is great. My opinion on this review is it was really good in almost every structure especially since i didn't even do mine.- Baltazar Calvillo
