As you requested I have used your two newest sticks, the Total One and the Nexus 1000.
The purpose of this report is to let you know which stick was a better fit for an 18 year old tier hockey player. I have used many other Bauer sticks and these two by far are the best yet. While testing the two sticks I graded the sticks under these categories:
Weight
Durability
Kick-point (whip of stick)

                                                       Recommendation
I recommend that you put out more Total One Bauer sticks. The overall feel is much better than the Nexus 1000. The Total One beats the Nexus in my mind in two of the three categories I presented. In weight the Total One is lighter than the Nexus not by much. Durability wise the Total One can take more shots and more punishment than the Nexus. As for the kick-point that gives off, the Nexus is better, but should be for more little kids.

Weight
Total One : 421 grams
Nexus 1000: 455 grams
Even though the Nexus is only about 30 grams heavier its still a difference and a player can tell.
Conclusion: Total One is lighter in weight.

Durability
Total One: This stick lasted through 500 shots and some brutal punishment. The sick never broke just cracked the paint.
Nexus 1000: The Nexus lasted through the shots, but cracked the shaft of the stick in a result of the punishment test.
Conclusion: Total one is more durable.

Kick point
Total One: The kick point of this stick is right in the middle so you get an alright shot off
Nexus1000: This kick point is lower than the middle offering more torque for the shot and making it go faster and harder.
Conclusion: The Nexus has a more efficient kick point.
